Fill in the blanks

1. I am currently obsessed with the show Jersylicious. Thank goodness my husband is deployed or he'd be so not happy watching it! I can't get enough. I may or may not have set up a series record on the DVR!

2. Today I am annoyed because I keep getting shot down regarding jobs I am applying for. Ugh.

3. The age I am is ___30__ and the age I feel is 21. I just had an awesome weekend with my best girlfriends and we lived it up. I miss them already.

4. My favorite place is the beach. It's so peaceful.

5. Something I have been procrastinating is working-out. I go like once a week. I need to get better at it. (By writing this, I'm committing to go today, which will make 2 times this week. If anyone hears that I didn't go, you can yell at me.)

6. The last thing I purchased was a garlic roaster for my friend Jax's bridal shower. She is going to do a happy dance. :)

7. The thing I love most about my home is that it is filled with love. No matter what we are going through or how our day was, when we walk through the door all our troubles seem to fade. And my kitties are so damn cute they make me smile too.

This is how I write

So, one of my most favorite blog peeps is Jessica from Heart on Homestead. She's fab. Anywho, she did a handwriting post, and I thought, "heck, why not?" So why not? Well, see for yourself. I write like a third grader that just learned cursive. Sigh.

Here's what you do:

Basically, there are eight questions and instead of just typing your answers, you hand-write them so everyone can see. I type a bazillion times a day, so my writing isn't too pretty. Don't judge. :)
1. What's your name / blogger name?

2. What's your blog's URL?

3. Write "The quick fox jumps over the lazy dog."

4. Favorite quote?

5. Your favorite song?

6. Your favorite band / singers?

7. Anything else you want to say?

8. Tag 3 - 5 other people.

Perhaps I should start writing more often. Also, I should learn how to take straight pictures. And spell. Oye.

Headbands make the world go round

So, I've blogged in the past about how much I am in love with headbands. Imagine my excitement when one of my most favorite blog people ever, Danielle at Take Heart announced she was having a headband swap. Ummm YES PLEASE! Well, I had the great fortune of meeting this lovely lady, Myriah Mae and we were partners. She's fab.

Look at these little numbers she bought me. I love them. A LOT!!!!

So much fun! (This is Katie. She is stellar.)

This is the other one, which I love as well. Just everytime I wear it I forget to snap a photo. This was my "oh crap, let me take a picture" picture.

I couldn't be happier with them! And, contrary to my fear, they don't look horrible in my hair! It looks cute I think. Oh, and I got a gazillion compliments. So no more headband fear.

I'm Megan and I'm a headbandaholic.

A Notecard Exchange

I had the pleasure of participating in a notecard exchange with some fellow bloggers hosted by Ashley at A Hasty Life. Ashley is really great about connecting folks in the blogosphere and I made some new bloggy friends in the process!

The ladies that were in my group were:

Leann from Join the Gossip
Lindsay from La Georgia Paperie

And here are the beautiful cards I received.

Thank you ladies! So nice to meet you!

Sonic used to be my favorite hedgehog

That was, until I saw these!

Unfortunately, they are a kit and I don't know how to kint. Sigh. It's never too late to learn, right?!

I heart you

Since C is deployed this year for Valentine's Day, I think he felt bad. He told me to buy whatever I wanted and that can be my gift. Wrong answer mister. I want a pony! However, as I browsed the paper for a pony (I haven't a clue where else to acquire one) I realized I couldn't just cut a check for $10,000. So that option is out the window. Damn.

On to plan B. These beauties have been making my heart go pitter pat all day....

These are merlot scented. I like anything that has to do with wine. I want these.

I could eat everything on this site. I'm not even kidding you. I wish the computer screen was scratch and sniff. :( By the way, there is a Eversave deal going on. Score! Hurry, they are dreamy. I may or may not have bought a few. (I get hungry...)

And lastly, I want a pair of these. Pink is my favorite color...

So my question to you folks is, is it greedy to get one of everything? I guess anything is better than me getting a pony, right?

Just to see you smile....

I've been in a funk the past few days and didn't want to write a sad post, so instead, I'm going to write about what makes me happy. Here ya go!

Watch out, he will eat you. If he can get up....

A little snow never hurt anyone!

I have an amazing friend named Jenni. She was the photographer at my wedding and just rocks. I mean that. I'm not just saying that because she's a friend. She really truly is awesome.

Well, some of you know, C and I got married on the beach. It was warm and sunny and just the way I like it. However, we were there, so why not trash the dress, right? Right! To back track a little, we are so happy with the date we set as it has special meaning. C and I met on December 14. He proposed on December 14. If you add 12 and 14 together you get 26. The only 26 that fell on a Saturday in the summer was June. So there ya go!

Since December and the cold and the snow has a special place in our hearts, I had really wanted to do a TTD session in the snow. I just thought how perfect for December, right?! Granted we did it in January, but that's a minor technicality lol.

I need to put some things out there first. One, apparently I failed to mention to C that we were doing this in the snow. One would think that, since he saw me grab my snow boots and I told him to bring gloves, he would have understood, but oh well. B. I had another dress. The dress I am wearing for these shots was a dress I had received for free and loved, just not as much as the one I ended up going with. I wanted to take photos in this dress for one main reason. I want to pass it along. Anyone want a free dress (I'm dry cleaning it, promise!). Seriously. It's a size 6 (I think, I wear a 6 and it fits me, if you email me I can give you exact measurements of the dress). It's strapless and has crinolin (I haven't the foggiest how to spell that) underneath and comes about mid shin on me. It's goregous. So it's yours if you want it!

Ok, so backing up a little, remember how C didn't realize it was TTD photos in the snow? Well, he wore what wore to our beach wedding. Yea, he was chilly. Men should listen to their wives, I'm just saying....
