I mostly gave up c...I am behind on my blog reading. I mostly gave up caffeine, but I still drink tea! My favorite drink ever is the sweetened black iced tea from Starbucks. I know this goes against your sugar rule, but this drink really helped me break my dependency on soda and coffee!<br /><br />As for no sweets, I've done that too but didn't stick with it. I would reward myself with a piece of very dark chocolate each night that I was good. To be completely honest, the first two WEEKS are hard. It's amazing how much our bodies are conditioned to want certain things! But I can also honestly say that after the hard part, you will feel AMAZING. Boundless energy, mental clarity, even mood.<br /><br />I might recommend watching some food documentaries to help boost your healthy ways - there's nothing like cold hard facts to help nudge us in the right direction.
